Athletics Term 4

RUN, JUMP, THROW!

In PE, we are completing rotations of athletics in order to prepare to compete in our athlete competitions. 

Instead of one athletics day, athletic events are run over the first 5 weeks of Term 4. Each day there will be an event at lunchtime for students to compete in should they wish to. 
I highly encourage all students to take up the challenge and participate in as many events as they feel comfortable doing. 

Below is a rough timetable of events. Please note: If we have one day of rain (or some event) where the events are postponed then the timetable will change. 

Students will be kept up to date on the events through the daily informer and agenda. 

High jump will take place on a wet lunchtime.

Friday 1500m – All year groups


Week Two

Monday 200m Heat – All year groups

Tuesday 1000m – All year groups

Wednesday 200m Semi – All year groups

Thursday 200m Final

Friday 100m Heats– All year groups


Week Three:

Tuesday 100m - Semi

Wednesday  - Class Relays

Thursday 100m – Semi

Friday  100m Final


Week Four:

Field Rotations – SP.D, CBT, & LJ.


Week Five:

Super 6 (Relays)– Monday Nov 9th  Block 3

Training


Week Eight:

Athletics Inter School - Dec 1st
