Extra, extra, read all about it!

Room 20 has decided to create an annual school Newspaper! This term from week 2 onwards we are going to transform our room into a newsroom and develop our very own Berkley Newspaper for 2015. As a class we decided we would like to create a newspaper for the whole school to enjoy, as a memento for the wonderful year 2015 has been. In the newspaper we will include a wide range of writing, from conventional newspaper articles, breaking news, to reviews, horoscopes, comics, interviews, gossip columns and opinion pieces, all centered around Berkley 2015 and the interest of those in our community.
We are still deciding about our end vision in terms of how we will distribute it, who to, and the printing, but as our work develops we will get a clearer idea of the end result.

We would love any ideas for the context- What do you think we should write about? What would you like to read? Are there any major news stories or events we need to cover?
